Kybrook Farm Elevated Tank Replacement
Kybrook Farm, Pine Creek, NT
Project Overview
Kybrook Farm in Pine Creek, Northern Territory required the removal and replacement of an elevated potable water tank. PC Tanks delivered a complete remove-and-replace solution — dismantling the existing asset and installing a new fully sealed 316 stainless steel 90kL elevated tank for McMahon Services, supporting Power and Water Corporation infrastructure in the Northern Territory.
This project was delivered in a remote NT location, requiring careful coordination of transport, site access, crane activities, installation sequencing, and construction planning. The outcome was a new compliant potable water asset designed for long-term durability in harsh regional conditions.
The Challenge
The existing elevated tank had reached the point where replacement was the most practical path forward. The project required the safe removal of the old tank and installation of a new elevated potable water tank in a remote operating environment, with close attention to logistics, access, and construction efficiency.
The Solution
PC Tanks delivered a full replacement scope including dismantling the existing tank, design, manufacture, supply, delivery, and installation of a new 90kL elevated stainless steel potable water tank. The replacement tank was built as a fully sealed 316 stainless steel system with compliant access infrastructure and associated fittings suited to the project requirements.
The Outcome
The Kybrook tank replacement was completed in May 2026, providing a new elevated potable water storage asset for the site. The finished installation delivered a durable, fully sealed stainless steel solution tailored to remote Northern Territory conditions and restored the site with a modern replacement asset ready for ongoing service.
